Springfield Township police are searching for 40-year-old Stanley (Chance) Smith, an armed and dangerous suspect with a swastika tattoo who shot a person in the leg Tuesday before 3 p.m. near Albrecht and Fritsch avenues, and police have advised residents to lock their homes and vehicles as the search continues.
On Monday afternoon, a brief EF-0 tornado touched down in western Medina County near Chatham Township and moved into Lafayette Township, lasting two minutes and causing damage by snapping trees and breaking roofs—no injuries were reported.
