  • Springfield Township police are searching for 40-year-old Stanley (Chance) Smith, an armed and dangerous suspect with a swastika tattoo who shot a person in the leg Tuesday before 3 p.m. near Albrecht and Fritsch avenues, and police have advised residents to lock their homes and vehicles as the search continues.  FOX 8

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • On Monday afternoon, a brief EF-0 tornado touched down in western Medina County near Chatham Township and moved into Lafayette Township, lasting two minutes and causing damage by snapping trees and breaking roofs—no injuries were reported.  FOX 8
