- ➤ Medina will host its fifth annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.—combining the event with the Farmer's Market to welcome local food vendors, entertainers, and community groups. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Medina community members gathered at the Medina High School Performing Arts Center to honor longtime band director Gary Ciulla during a special tribute ceremony. - ➤ 457 blue pinwheels marking last year's child abuse cases will be planted outside the Medina Library at the Community Pinwheel Walk Sunday, April 19 (12:30 to 2:45 p.m.). - ➤ Medina Parks and Recreation Director Jansen Wehrley said the department plans to convert two part-time laborer positions into one full-time role to reduce overtime and ease weekend staffing shortages during the busy season until October.
