- ➤ Medina County parks will offer free outdoor and indoor programs this November for all ages—residents can join hikes, nature walks and educational events at locations such as Oenslager Nature Center, Buckeye Woods Park and Lake Medina. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Medina County Park District opened Shotwell Gardens at Lake Medina after a Friday ribbon cutting that honored the Shotwell family's 25-acre donation and support from a state capital grant, Friends of the Parks and the Sunrise Rotary Club — visitors explored the park’s paved trail, ponds, amphitheater and interactive musical instruments on Saturday. - ➤ Medina accepted a donation of about 1.55 acres on Weymouth Road next to Huffman/Cunningham Park — local owner Mark Taylor requested a memorial bench honoring his parents be placed near the mountain bike trail. The city estimated the property at $165,000 and will incorporate it into the park without planning any development. Cleveland.com
