  • Main Street Medina has announced that the 11th annual Medina Restaurant Week will run from Oct 3 to Oct 12 and include 21 local restaurants offering fall menu favorites. Visitors can sign up by scanning a QR code at each restaurant and earn up to three entries per day for gift card draws + a chance to win a grand prize of restaurant gift cards worth $250.  Cleveland.com
  • City and county officials will gather in Uptown Park on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 11:30 a.m. to dedicate a new White Oak gifted to Medina County through the America250 Program—local children will join in the mulching ceremony and receive commemorative gifts.  Cleveland.com

  • Medina City Schools reminds residents that the Safe School Helpline is available 24/7 for students and adults who need immediate support—if the situation is an emergency, callers should dial 911.  Cleveland.com

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Christi Paul of 3News reported that a potential federal government shutdown may delay services and slow permit processing in Northeast Ohio—local officials are preparing for disruptions if the shutdown occurs.  WKYC

HEALTH NEWS

  • Jill Lionetti started Beauty And The Beast Animal Wellness and today travels through Northeast Ohio to offer pet massage, cold laser, phototherapy, and tape treatments that help animals feel better and move easier—Nikki Thomas, for example, noticed her dog's improved gait after a session. Her work serves dogs, horses, and even rescued wildlife, aiming to reduce pain and extend quality of life.  WKYC

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship will visit Huntington Bank Field on April 18, 2026 as one of 17 stops, marking its first return to Cleveland in 30 years. Fans across the region— including those in Medina—are expecting an exciting race as it brings national racing action.  WKYC
