- ➤ An 18-year-old man died when his Honda motorcycle hit a cow on the 8200 block of River Styx Road in Guilford Township early Thursday morning at 3:05 a.m.-officers said drugs and alcohol were not involved and the sheriff and coroner are investigating the crash. WKYC

- ➤ The eight local artists Women In Art opened their exhibit 'Beyond the Rainbow' at the Medina Library on the third floor, displaying colorful works in watercolor, acrylic, and mixed media. The exhibit will run until Sept. 28 and a reception is scheduled Sept. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m.—each artist shares a brief statement about her work. Cleveland.com
