Spirits of the Past will offer 60-minute guided history tours in Medina’s historic square on Sept.
4, 5 and 6 from 7 to 9 p.m., starting in the rear parking lot of the Medina County Administration Building with tours departing every 10 minutes. The event is a collaboration of the Medina County Arts Council, Historical Society and Show Biz Company — it features local actors portraying historical figures and limits tours to 20 participants with 780 tickets available.
Brunswick native Zebulon Thomas released his memoir 'Out of Fight or Flight' after trauma therapy saved his life and he announced plans to form a nonprofit to help pay for counseling fees.
Thomas shares his journey of overcoming childhood abuse and hopes to support others on their path to healing—offering a way forward for those in need.

Step Up to Prevent Suicide Community Awareness Walk
Registration is open for our annual “Step Up to Prevent Suicide” Awareness Walk, happening on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Medina Public Square. This free afternoon community walk coordinated by the Medina County Coalition for Suicide Prevention brings together individuals, families, and organizations across the county to raise awareness, honor those we’ve lost, and support those who are struggling.
