ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ On Sunday at 11:42 a.m. on I-71 near milepost 206 in Westfield Township, a speeding Chrysler 200 sideswiped a Ford F250 hauling a trailer which overturned—ejecting 52-year-old Tracy Hodgkinson who later died and seriously injuring driver Benjamin Hodgkinson while a Honda Odyssey was lightly damaged by debris and I-71 was closed for 90 minutes. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Medina police responded to several traffic and disturbance calls this week, including a three-vehicle crash at Ryan and Chippewa roads on Aug. 7 at 11:59 a.m.—with one driver cited for failing to yield—and a road rage call on Aug. 8, plus impaired driving and a two-vehicle crash on Aug. 9, as well as additional calls for property damage, a non-injury collision, harassment and a disturbance on Aug. 7.
