- ➤ Medina Police are investigating a report from July 31 when an older man was seen taking photos of women at a store on North Court Street and served a trespassing notice to a woman at a residence—while calls through Aug. 2 also involved traffic crashes, an open container violation, and a theft incident. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Medina County Park District commissioners have placed a new levy on the Nov. 4 ballot to extend funding for parks, trails and preserves after the current 1-mill levy expires at the end of 2026. Director Nate Eppink said if approved, the levy will generate $6.7 million per year through 2036—costing most taxpayers about $31 annually per $100,000 of appraised property value. Cleveland.com
