- ➤ A local businessman, Sam Tamburrino, tried to claim $100,000 in U.S. Savings Bonds from a safe deposit box after his parents died but has faced repeated delays because state officials need extra documentation—his lawyer said that the processing issues have continued since the claim was filed last year. - ➤ The state of Ohio may soon end E-Check (a program that requires drivers to complete vehicle emissions testing every two years) in several Northeast Ohio counties, and officials will announce more details in the coming weeks (sources indicate a final decision is near). WKYC
