Medina High School's speech and debate team earned national recognition at a tournament in Richmond, Virginia in June—four students qualified in Congressional Debate and the team received its sixth straight School of Honor Award.
Board of Education officials praised the students' talent and hard work on the national stage.
Medina High School will offer its updated Beeline course next school year that includes a free curriculum guiding freshmen and sophomores on college and career pathways - school officials noted guest speakers from local fields will add real-world insight.
