- ➤ Erin Grohe has been named the new Program Director of the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Medina County at the Children’s Center, where she will lead volunteers who support children in family court. She brings extensive child welfare experience from New York City and local roles to build the county’s first CASA program. Cleveland.com
- ➤ A new park named Zachary A. Weber Riverside Park opened on July 4th to honor Zachary Weber, who passed away weeks earlier at age 21. The park was developed from farmland donated by his parents Bryan and Annette Weber — the dedication marked what would have been his 23rd birthday and gives locals a place to remember his love for the outdoors.
