David Greenberg from 3News visited the new Phantom Fireworks store in Sheffield Village as locals prepare to celebrate today.
The store offers a variety of firework products and expert advice for safe displays.
On June 29, Medina's Alleycats and Aristocats celebrated the grand reopening of its remodeled facility at 620 East Smith Road with food, face painting, a bake sale, and raffles—raising about $1,000 and resulting in three adoptions.
The group, which cares for 230 cats, plans to host its Tats for Cats fundraiser on Sept. 14 at The Common Ground.
🎓 Education
Teacher Sara Dreibelbis at Northrop Elementary was named District 11 Teacher of the Year by the Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio and the State Board of Education—this award recognizes her innovation, leadership and commitment in the classroom.
She is now being considered for Ohio’s 2026 Teacher of the Year.
