On Tuesday, June 2, a witness saw a red pickup truck toss a trash bag near the intersection of Wadsworth and Blake Roads in Medina Township, leading a good Samaritan to rescue six kittens while the SPCA investigates (possible animal cruelty).

The Wadsworth Community Band will launch its Summer 2026 concert series on Sunday at Buffalo Creek Retreat to celebrate the 250th anniversary of U.S. independence & more shows are scheduled on June 20 at Wadsworth High School Performing Arts Center, June 28 at Wolf Creek Winery, and July 3.
