- ➤ Medina police are looking for a white man (roughly 30 years old, 6 feet tall with blonde hair and a short scruffy beard) accused of trying to abduct a 10-year-old boy from the Forest Meadows Apartments playground on Reagan Parkway earlier this week after the child broke free. Cleveland.com

- ➤ Medina Fire Chief Larry Walters was honored with the Ohio Fire Service Valor Award for his role in rescuing a woman trapped in a burning home in York Township last fall.
