- ➤ A walking tour of historic building second stories sold out quickly, but residents can join a waiting list for tours on July 18. Tours depart from Medina Town Hall and Engine Museum every half hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and include climbing 188 stairs. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Local columnist Whit and Whimsey recovered from a hand injury and is ready for the Treasures at the Farm yard sale scheduled May 29-30 at Heritage Farm on Laurel Road where community members can register to sell treasures as part of America250 celebrations. Cleveland.com
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Medina County residents can receive a free native plant when they remove invasive species—especially Callery pear—from their properties. A workshop on invasive species management will be held (June 7 at Oenslager Nature Center in Wadsworth and June 24 at OSU Extension in Medina) open to all. Cleveland.com
