A mom and her son in Medina have begun rebuilding their lives after receiving vital support from Laura's Home.
The nonprofit provided the resources needed to help them start a fresh chapter.

Executive director Bethany Dentler noted that AvCarb Material Solutions closed its 130,000 sqft facility in Sharon Township on April 21 amid cost pressures while local capital investments have grown and 185 new jobs support ongoing activity & plans to repurpose the site are in progress.
🎓 Education
Wadsworth City Schools is accepting nominations for its Educator Emeritus Hall of Fame for retired teachers and administrators with at least five years of service (nominations are submitted via the district’s online form).
Highland Local Schools named Kristine Nerlich and Koula Makris as recipients of the 2026 Highland Pride Awards.
They will be honored at the Highland Board of Education meeting at 6 p.m. Monday at the Highland High School Media Center.
