- ➤ Medina County SPCA will reduce pet adoption fees during the Empty the Shelters event starting Sunday and running through May 17. The shelter — the only Northeast Ohio participant — will be open daily from noon to 4 p.m. to offer special pricing on adult and special-needs pets. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Medina County Fall Foliage Tour organizers warn the event may be canceled without securing more host sites; four stops are confirmed and additional agricultural & educational locations in Guilford, Montville, Sharon, and Wadsworth Townships must be provided by May 29. The self-guided tour is set for Oct. 10 and 11. Cleveland.com
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Third graders from Brunswick City Schools took a field trip to Heritage Farm—rotating through four historic buildings for about 20 minutes each, thanks to a grant from Medina Breakfast Kiwanis. Families can visit the farm on Sunday, Jun. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., except July 5. Cleveland.com
