- ➤ Mike Polk Jr. is hosting the 2025 Annual Pothole Awards to honor the deepest dips reported by local viewers—residents submitted tips on dangerous potholes in Northeast Ohio. WKYC
- ➤ Kris Mog of Medina Personal Care Pantry said the program provides essential hygiene items such as toilet paper, shampoo and detergent to low-income families and seniors every first Saturday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Medina Presbyterian Church—serving about 600 people each month with special bags for children and teens available. - ➤ This morning a white car driving south on Route 94 crashed into a new gazebo at Sharon Circle in Medina County that is part of a more than $1 million upgrade, and a 68-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the vehicle and under-construction gazebo were damaged—drugs and alcohol were not suspected and she was cited for failure to control and seatbelt. - ➤ Medina Fire Department battled a structure fire on West Liberty Street near Elmwood Ave. and Huntington Street on May 4th and closed the road for several hours—police have since reopened the roadway. WKYC
