Mike Polk Jr. is hosting the 2025 Annual Pothole Awards to honor the deepest dips reported by local viewers—residents submitted tips on dangerous potholes in Northeast Ohio.

Kris Mog of Medina Personal Care Pantry said the program provides essential hygiene items such as toilet paper, shampoo and detergent to low-income families and seniors every first Saturday from 8 to 9:30 a.m. at Medina Presbyterian Church—serving about 600 people each month with special bags for children and teens available.

This morning a white car driving south on Route 94 crashed into a new gazebo at Sharon Circle in Medina County that is part of a more than $1 million upgrade, and a 68-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries while the vehicle and under-construction gazebo were damaged—drugs and alcohol were not suspected and she was cited for failure to control and seatbelt.

Medina Fire Department battled a structure fire on West Liberty Street near Elmwood Ave. and Huntington Street on May 4th and closed the road for several hours—police have since reopened the roadway.
