The Medina Square Farmers Market will open its 22nd season on May 16 at historic downtown Medina and run on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. until Oct.
10, offering over 70 vendors, live music, themed days, and alternative food support programs.

Medina High School drama students earned six Dazzle Awards nominations for their Hadestown Teen Edition production and will perform at the Playhouse Square KeyBank State Theater on May 16.
Notable nominations include Best Actor for Mason Cooper among 44 Northeast Ohio high schools.
Historic Union Pacific Big Boy locomotive No. 4014 will make multiple stops in Northeast Ohio, giving local train enthusiasts a chance to see the famed engine up close.

Medina County's first girls flag football league has launched with 62 players in eight teams, building confidence and leadership among young athletes.
The program under the Lake Erie Youth Football League holds games on local turf fields (in Northeast Ohio) and is expected to grow this season.
