- ➤ Medina County District Library has announced two free events in May. Pianist George Foley will perform jazz from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Medina Library on May 7 while Highland Library will host a family-friendly Renaissance Faire from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 9. Cleveland.com
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Medina’s Board of Education is considering new science resources for grades 4-9 based on recommendations from local science teachers, and it will vote on the curriculum next month. Assistant Director Sarah Jackson presented the proposals (during an April 21 board meeting). Cleveland.com
