EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Close to two dozen Nordonia Hills High School students rallied Thursday after school at 2:11 p.m. in front of the school to support a proposed operating levy that would add a 5-mill tax—raising property taxes $175 per $100,000—and generate $7.39 million per year after major cuts that eliminated over 40 positions. The superintendent also pleaded at the statehouse in Columbus for increased education funding as voters prepare to decide on multiple measures on May 6. FOX 8
