Cleveland native Andre Martin was shot and killed by Medina County deputies at Staples two days ago—his family now demands answers and a full investigation.

Medina City Schools will host a bike safety rodeo on May 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Ray Mellert Park to mark National Bike to School Day—event features include bicycle relay races, obstacle courses, bike inspections and free water bottle giveaways for local families.

Medina council members are largely in favor of moving the historic Interurban building to the McDowell-Phillips property after a recent finance committee meeting — the relocation would let the Medina County Historical Society better protect the building that was moved last year to avoid construction damage.
