Medina High School seniors will host a free event on April 30 at the school gym (4:30 to 6 p.m.) to connect families with local athletic programs and sports equipment donation opportunities.
The event will also feature team booths and activities like cornhole, Kan Jam, and Spikeball.
Medina High School will launch six youth sports camps for K-8 students starting June 1 at sites such as the Community Recreation Center — built to boost athletic skills and teamwork.
The programs run until early August and feature varsity coaches alongside high school athletes.
Officials at Brickyard Park have banned fishing in all ponds due to untested water contaminants - a vehicle was even removed from one pond.
Remediation continues with targeted cleanup and new trails underway, and full work is set to finish by November.
