Northeast Ohio cities including Medina will join nationwide 'Hands Off!' protests today — events are planned at various times in Akron, Cleveland, Avon Lake, Strongsville, Kent, Ravenna, Cuyahoga Falls, Oberlin and more.

The Children's Center of Medina County is launching a Court Appointed Special Advocate program to recruit local volunteers aged 21 or older to support children in need and work with the county court and Ohio CASA/GAL association.

Volunteers will receive training and guidance to help review school, medical, and care records as they serve as advocates in court.
