The Medina High School Speech and Debate Team was honored as a Leading Chapter by the National Speech and Debate Association after posting strong results at the Ohio State Tournament at a March 17 board meeting — the team now prepares for the upcoming National Qualifier.

A meteor lit up Northeast Ohio Tuesday morning and broke apart over Valley City, making a loud boom that rattled homes in Medina County.
