The Medina County Student Art Show runs from March 1 to 31, turning local businesses into gallery spaces that display artwork by students.

The event supports creative talent from local schools & fosters community connection in historic Medina.

Medina Board of Education authorized bids for partial roof replacements at Medina High and Root Middle, with the high school project set for spring and the middle school work addressing water leaks in science classrooms, and also completed ADA restroom updates at Claggett (both boys and girls bathrooms).

Medina Board of Education approved the purchase of five 71-passenger school buses for $697,490 to update the district's fleet within its 12-year cycle and ensure smooth student transportation.

The district will trade in five retired buses as part of the deal (cost-effective update).

Highland High School choir is turning a 9-year-old boy's heartfelt essay into a song as part of a creative project; the piece was written by Matthew Droes (who has Williams Syndrome) and celebrates his love for everyone.
