Medina City Schools used six of seven approved calamity days due to sub-zero temperatures and windchills.
Assistant Superintendent Kris Quallich said the board may add extra days if inclement weather continues - makeup days would then likely start at summer break.

Medina County Treasurer John Burke said property tax bills mailed on Jan.
30 will soon arrive and due dates extended to Feb. 27 to allow a double homestead reduction for homeowners (age 65 or older, disabled, veteran, or first responder’s spouse with income below 41,000 dollars).
