ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Local drivers are warned that leaving vehicles running to warm up (puffing) is illegal in Ohio and may damage the engine over time. Experts recommend starting the car, waiting 30 seconds, and then driving off to warm up faster and cut fuel waste. WKYC

- ➤ Earlier this month, Medina and Montville Township held hearings to expand their joint economic development district by adding four parcels and approved the change, which would allow plans for multi-family rentals & a VA clinic with shovels planned for this spring. Cleveland.com
- ➤ Medina will expand Ray Mellert Park by purchasing a vacant parcel on Foundry Street valued at $65,000 (donations and a grant covered half the cost) after the finance committee approved the mayor’s purchase agreement on Jan. 12, connecting it with the existing park and walking path near Foundry Social.
